SUNDAY AT THE MOVIES!!! During the education hour on Sunday mornings throughout the summer we will be watching modern movies for the whole family, and discussing how our faith encounters the messages of the movies. Come to the Big Room at 9:45 a.m. starting June 13 to pick up a bag of popcorn and settle in to watch a section of a movie. The whole movie will be shown over three or four weeks. We will leave ample time each week for discussion and faith reflection. Movies will be picked on the basis of being family-friendly… this is a cross-generational opportunity. We are also looking for households that might want to preview a movie and, in consultation with Pastor Paul, come up with related Bible passages and discussion questions.
