Music at First

First Lutheran has a rich and inspirational range of ensembles forming the backbone of our music ministry. Along with traditional worship service participation, our ensembles participate in such events as the Longmont Handbell Festival, Ryssby Candlelight Advent services, and Christmas caroling for the non-ambulatory. From vocal choirs, solo and ensemble opportunities, handbell choirs, and holiday brass ensembles, there are opportunities for all to participate or enjoy.

Vocal Choirs

Joyful Noise is First Lutheran’s children’s choir directed by Jerri Modrall, open to kids from Kindergarten to 5th grade. They sing once a month, participate in the Ryssby Candlelight services, and at several special services and festivals throughout the year! The kids rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-6:45pm where they enjoy laughter, song, and of course a small snack. Click here for a list of Dates for 2016-2017
