Please join us on Oct. 22 & 23 for the dedication of our Thankofferings. Thankoffering worship is a time to celebrate, reflect, and give thanks for God's activity in our lives. The Thankofferings that are collected each year help women of the ELCA participants and their congregations to reflect on their ministries and how they have been blessed. Listed below are just a few of the ways in which Thankofferings are used. • Aid women and children living in poverty. • Assist in the accomplishment of goals set by the women of the ELCA. • Endow global training and development grants that provide health care, educational, and nutritional assistance to women in developing countries. There are small boxes which are available to all women, in which they can put coins on a daily or monthly basis. These small boxes can be picked up at the entrance of the church. Women who would like to participate in the Services should call Betty Swenson. Thank you to all who have so generously contributed yarn and cards to the Women's Prison Ministry.
Treats are needed for after the Santa Lucia Program to be held on December 14, at 6:00p.m. We are asking for donations of cookies, finger sandwiches, or cheese and crackers. If you are able to supply some of these goodies, please contact Betty Swenson., at 303-776-0846 We are also looking for someone to lead crafts for the younger children after the program. Previous crafts have ranged from cookie decorating to Magic Color Scratch shapes. Please contact Terri Parsell-Sherry, at 303-828-0360, if you are interested in helping with crafts.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY will meet the first Friday of the month, at 9:00 a.m.; the next meeting is November 4 in the Fireside Room.

Come Join Us
in decorating the Chrismon Tree and in planning for 2012. We'll meet in the Fireside Room for dessert and celebration beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30. Please bring a dessert and your ideas to share.
