IBM employees and Retirees
IBM employees and retirees can use the IBM ondemand community to log volunteer hours and secure money or equipment for the church. First Lutheran Church has already been approved as a recipient for these funds. All you need to do is log your volunteer hours: an average of 8 hours a month for 5 months is all that is needed to secure equipment or $1000.00 to support a specific program. These programs must not be worship related but must be in support of the community. Improving the facilities which is used for community agencies is accepted.
First step is to logon on IBM ondemand Community website. Register if you don't already have an ID. Then log your hours. Once you have 40 hours you can apply for a grant.
When you apply for cash you must identify exactly what the cash will be used for. It cannot exceed $1000.00.
