Why do people Volunteer

For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. and he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15

Why do people volunteer you ask?

An excerpt from a study completed on why people volunteer concluded that:

Volunteering provides an opportunity for personal achievement. A sense that they are making a difference.

Volunteering helps make new discoveries about yourself and others.

Volunteering helps form social bonds and strengthen community.

When training, feedback and recognition is provided you have volunteers who feel energized by the assignment, see it as fun to do and complete it feeling better than when they started.
