In 2025\, this event will be held on Septemb er 13. It's a day for ELCA congregations to participate in various service projects to demonstrate their faith and love for their neighbors. \nSign -up sheets for the Gods Work. Our Hands. projects are on the bulletin boar d in the Narthex. All the fun projects we will be participating in this ye ar and donations needed are listed below. Join us in the Big Room after wo rship from 10:45-Noon. A pizza lunch will be provided in the Big Room from 12-12:30pm.\n2026 God's Work. Our Hands. Projects\nLutheran Family Servic es Rocky Mountains - Meet the Women's knitting and sewing group who are re fugees from Burma. We will give them the donations we collected and hear a bout their journeys to the United States. Staff from LFS will accompany t hem and help us learn more about the services of Lutheran Family Services. \nOur Center - Go to the Our Center and tour the facility to learn more ab out it. Hear about all the resources they provide and how we can partner w ith them in the future. We will also deliver the diapers we have collected as well as the bags of beans and rice which the kids assembled. \nSt. Vra in Manor – Have a cookies and coffee conversation with members at the St . Vrain Manor. Prior to our visit we will write cards or draw pictures for the members.\nParish House - Move medical equipment from the parish house to a storage room at the church. The Parish House Return-to Housing Commi ttee is preparing to use more space in the Parish House for people in our community in need of transitional housing. The medical equipment is used f or various people in our congregation and community in times of emergency and after surgeries. \nLutheran World Relief - Tie quilts for Lutheran Wor ld Relief. No experience necessary in quilting\, just a willingness to tie and make connections with others.\n\nDonations for God's Work.
