Weekend Reminder - April 17, 2026

 

Saturday, April 18

  • 5:30pm– Worship
  • 5:30pm-Listening Sessions with Youth
  • 6:30pm-8:00pm - Third Saturday Game Night with PICKLEBALL!  Following the Saturday evening worship service, we will meet in the Big Room to enjoy all sorts of games and fellowship! Bring a friend! Everyone is invited! A Fun Time is guaranteed!! Popcorn and Lemonade provided!

Sunday, April 19

  • 8:15am - New Member Orientation  and Receiving - New members will be received at the 9:30am Worship Service. Come welcome the new members in the Fireside Room after worship while enjoying Sunday morning coffee & donuts.

  • Camp Sunday with Sky Ranch! - We welcome Deacon Missie Bonser, Interim Executive Director of Sky Ranch (a former youth of First Lutheran!) who will preach on Sunday. Deacon Missie & Tyler Stewardson, Program Director will be at First Lutheran to share some of their music and share what is happening at camp. After, worship, they will lead the Sunday School children and our teens in music and games.
    Family Camp at Sky Ranch Registration is due TODAY April 19
    Summer Camp is July 24-26   This is a great opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy the mountains and all the fun at camp. Enjoy arts, and crafts, hiking, the high ropes course, or just sitting on the porch watching wildlife.  Choose from a variety of lodging options such as the lodge, a cabin, tent camping, or being your own camper.  with a $100 deposit.  See Deacon Korra for more information, scholarship assistance, and registration.

  • 9:30am - Worship and Livestream
  • 10:45am Sunday School Hour -  
    • K-5 Sunday School in Room 5 (The Old Fellowship Hall downstairs).
    • Middle and High School FLY - Any youth in grades 6-12 are invited to the FLY Room, each    Sunday for faith-filled discussions about what is going on in their lives!  
    • Adult Sunday School in the Conference Room. All are welcome to attend the study of “Lincoln's Battle with God: A President's Struggle with Faith and What It Meant for America” by Stephen Mansfield.   • 4:00pm-6:00pm-Youth Group with Bethlehem Lutheran at Bethlehem Lutheran Church All middle and high school youth are invited to make dinner for our guests, which include teenage refugees and Asylum Seekers from Lutheran Family Services. Following dinner we will play games and hear stories from our guests about their experiences of resettlement to the United States. Parents are welcome to attend as well.

  • 9:00am-10:00am - Brass Angels Bell Choir in the Choir Room
  • 1:00pm - Staff Meeting in the Fireside Room

Wednesday, April 22

Thursday, April 23

  • Rocky Mountain Synod Assembly Begins!
  • 10:30am - Adult Bible Study - This is our last meeting this spring of the “Thursday Adult Bible Study” will be having our annual pot luck!! All are welcome.  Please bring a favorite dish and your appetite to the Fireside Room. .
