Weekend Reminder - January 30, 2026

 

Saturday, January 31

  • 2:00pm-4:00pm - Bowling Party!!  Join us on Saturday, January 31st from 2:00pm- 4:00pm at Centennial Lanes for a bowling party to "strike" up some fellowship. Centennial Lanes 110 East Ninth Avenue, Longmont, CO 80504. The cost is $12.00 per person.  Please make the check payable to Eric Pederson. Shoes are $5.00 per person paid directly to Centennial Lanes. (8 years and under shoes are free). Please RSVP Eric Pederson at eapederson61@gmail.com by January 23rd so we know how many lanes to reserve.  Let's "spare" a couple of hours and have some fun!   • 9:30am - Worship and Livestream - Welcome Bishop Meghan Johnston Aelabouni
  • Coffee with Council - in the Fireside Room
  • 10:45am Sunday School Hour -  
    • K-5 Sunday School in Room 5 (The Old Fellowship Hall downstairs).
    • Middle and High School FLY - Any youth in grades 6-12 are invited to the FLY Room, each    Sunday for faith-filled discussions about what is going on in their lives!  
    • Adult Sunday School - Bishop Megan will be sharing in our regular class on Sunday, following worship in the Big Room. Please join us in sharing a warm welcome, and hear about our synodical ministries, and more!
  • Homebound Communion, Consecrated and Delivered to homebound members.  If you know of anyone who can not make it to church and would like communion, please leave their name with the church office. Our Homebound Communion team will follow the first Sunday of every month.
  • 2:00pm - Painting Bowls at Crackpots— Join the fun at Crackpots (505 Main Street, Longmont, CO) on February 1st at 2pm.  We will be painting bowls to be donated to the OUR Center's 2026 Empty Bowls Event. The cost is $20+tax, payable at Crackpots to cover the cost of the bowl.   • 2:00pm-4:00pm - Free Concert at Mount Hope Lutheran Church in Boulder (1345 South Broadway) will be hosting a FREE concert on Sunday, February 1 from 2:00-4:00 pm. Our churches have been blessed with so many excellent musicians that we thought a concert would be a special way to put the spotlight on a few of the best. It will be a fun Christian afternoon of entertainment and a chance to fellowship together. Please come and be blessed.

Thursday, February 5

  • 10:30am - Adult Bible Study - We are centering our attention on Jesus, according to John’s gospel.  The Bible will be supplemented with the book “Wounded Lord,” by Robert Smith. If you still need a copy, please contact Maria Sutton in the church office.

Friday, February 6

  • 9:30am–11:00am - Prayer Shawl meets in Room 5 (The Old Fellowship Hall downstairs).  Along with the joy of fellowship, our Prayer Shawl group is called to create shawls for those needing support during celebrations or sorrows. No matter your knitting or crocheting skill level - come, learn, and make a shawl!
