Saturday, August 1

  • 10:00am- Hydration Station Outreach Activities! Come, help provide cold water on a hot day at the following celebration! First Lutheran will be giving out free water for the thirsty community at the: Boulder County Fair Parade at Roosevelt Park. See you there!

Welcome Interim Pastor Stephanie Kopsch!
We encourage you to introduce yourself, wear your name tag, offer your prayers and support, and help make her feel at home as she begins her ministry among us.  Please join us at receptions to welcome Pastor Stephanie Kopsch after each worship service this weekend.

  • 5:30pm – Worship followed by a reception in the Fireside Room

Sunday, August 2

  • 8:00am – Worship in the Courtyard followed by a reception in the Fireside Room
  • 9:30am - Worship and Livestream followed by a reception in the Big Room
  • Homebound Communion, Consecrated and delivered to homebound members.  If you know of anyone who cannot make it to church and would like communion, please leave their name with the church office. Our Homebound Communion team will follow the first Sunday of every month.

Monday, August 3

  • 4:30pm - First Lutheran Summer Golf League at Sunset Golf Course continues through Monday, August 31. Please contact Rick Samson for more details rick@samsonlongmontlaw.com.

Tuesday, August 4

  • 1:00pm - Staff Meeting in the Fireside Room.

Thursday, August 6

  • 5:00pm-6:00pm - Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Meeting in the Conference Room. This committee will guide the congregation through the Reconciling in Christ (RIC) process offered by Reconciling Works. The purpose of the RIC Program is to ensure the welcome, inclusion, celebration, and advocacy for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions; work for racial equity and commit to anti-racist work and support the national program. For more information, please contact Andrew Howell or the church office to connect with a committee member.

Friday, August 7

  • 9:30am–11:00am - Prayer Shawl in the Fireside Room.  Along with the joy of fellowship, our Prayer Shawl group is called to create shawls for those needing support during celebrations or sorrows. No matter your knitting or crocheting skill level - come, learn, and make a shawl!

Saturday, August 8

  • 5:30pm – Worship

  • 8:00am – Worship in the Courtyard
  • 8:30am - First Lutheran Woman meet in the conference room. Can't wait to see everyone after our little summer break.  So many exciting things coming up for the women of First Lutheran.  Thanks for all you ladies do!
  • 9:30am - Worship and Livestream
  • 10:45am – Reconciling in Christ - Creativity, Connection, and Conversation - Join us in the Big Room for an informal time to get together, paint a postcard, and chat about our journey toward becoming a more welcoming and affirming community. Art supplies will be provided, and no artistic experience is needed!
