Weekend Reminder - March 13, 2026

 

Saturday, March 14

  • 10:30am-1:00pm - O.U.R Center Empty Bowls Fundraiser - The O.U.R. Center's Annual Empty Bowls Event is a soup lunch fundraiser that will take place at Longmont High School from 10:30am -1:00pm on Saturday, March 14th. This is a delicious way to support the O.U.R. center and all the wonderful work it does. Tickets are $25 before March 8 and $30 at the door if available. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.ourcenter.org/emptybowls/  or in-person at Crackpots. Hope to see a lot of First Lutheran folks at this amazing event on March 14th!

Sunday, March 15

  • 9:30am - Worship and Livestream. Welcome Krista Kilgus, Executive Director, Urban Servant Corps, Denver
  • 10:45am Sunday School Hour -  
    • K-5 Sunday School in Room 5 (The Old Fellowship Hall downstairs).
    • Middle and High School FLY - Any youth in grades 6-12 are invited to the FLY Room, each    Sunday for faith-filled discussions about what is going on in their lives!  
    • Adult Sunday School in the Conference Room. Everyone is invited to attend a presentation by Krista Kilgus, Executive Director of the Urban Servant Corps in Denver, Colorado.
  • 12:00pm - Youth Group with Bethlehem at First Lutheran in the Fireside Room

Tuesday, March 17

  • 9:00am-10:00am - Brass Angels Bell Choir in the Choir Room
  • 1:00pm - Staff Meeting in the Fireside Room

Wednesday, March 18

  • 10:00am-11:45am – Seasoned Saints meets in the Fireside Room. We will have a presentation on “Dementia Together” from Claire Richardson. For more information contact Leslie Dreyer at lesdreyer11@gmail.com.
  • 1:00pm-4:00pm - Lutheran World Relief Sewing Group in the Upper South Wing Room B.  Please contact Char Lemkee at calemkee@yahoo.com or 303-651-7484 for more information.
  • 5:30pm- Lenten Wednesday Worship, with Holden Evening Prayer, followed by a soup supper in the Big Room.

Thursday, March 19

  • 10:30am - Adult Bible Study - We are centering our attention on Jesus, according to John’s gospel.  The Bible will be supplemented with the book “Wounded Lord,” by Robert Smith. If you still need a copy, please contact Maria Sutton in the church office.

Saturday, March 21

  • 9:00am-3:00pm - Offsite Church Council Retreat
  • 5:30pm - Worship
  • 6:30pm-8:00pm - Third Saturday Game Night! Following the Saturday evening worship service, we will meet in the Fireside Room to enjoy all sorts of games and fellowship! Bring a friend! Everyone is invited! A Fun Time is guaranteed!! Popcorn and Lemonade provided!
