Saturday, March 28

- 6:30pm-7:15pm - Concert at First Lutheran - TwoMorrows used to be a dynamic daddy/daughter duo comprised of pianist Darrell Morrow and his baby girl vocalist Sarah Morrow. You may have caught their concert here at First Lutheran in June of 2022, just six months before they met their latest band member. In April of 2023, the duo became a trio called TwoMorrows and a Mike! Don’t miss their upcoming brief set of jazz standards in the sanctuary after the Saturday service! Donations are welcome and will support youth programming at First Lutheran. See you there!
Palm Sunday, March 29
Coffee with Council - Please join us for Coffee with Council on Sunday before or after worship! Council invites your suggestions and comments anytime you want to share.
- 9:30am - Worship and Livestream - Children and Families—Please join us in the narthex this Sunday before worship for the Palm Procession.
- 10:45am Sunday School Hour -
- K-5 Sunday School in Room 5 (The Old Fellowship Hall downstairs).
- Middle and High School FLY - Any youth in grades 6-12 are invited to the FLY Room, each Sunday for faith-filled discussions about what is going on in their lives!
- Adult Sunday School in the Conference Room. All are welcome to attend the study of “Lincoln's Battle with God: A President's Struggle with Faith and What It Meant for America” by Stephen Mansfield. A scholarship opportunity is available to all FELC High School Seniors! If you are graduating this year, and plan to further your education please consider filling out an application for one of the First Lutheran Good Samaritan Scholarships. Applications are due by March 31, 2026

Maundy Thursday, April 2
- 10:30am - Adult Bible Study - Will not meet this week. Join us again after Easter!
- 5:30pm – Maundy Thursday Worship Service (and Livestreamed) - Join us for a meaningful worship service with communion, foot washing, hand anointing, and stripping the of the altar.
Good Friday April 3
- 7:30pm - Good Friday Worship (and Livestreamed) - The Passion According to John. The Tenebrae (Latin for “shadows” or “darkness”) service marks Jesus’s journey to Golgotha and allows for extended meditation through proclamation of the Word in scripture and sermon, as well as through music, increasing darkness, and silent reflection.
Easter Vigil, Saturday, April 4
- 10:00am-12:00pm - Easter Egg Hunt! - We’ll begin in First Lutheran’s Sanctuary with a short, meaningful Easter message before heading across Pratt Street to Old Mill Park for an exciting egg hunt—where kids can search high and low to collect as many eggs as they can! Don’t forget to bring a basket for each child. After the hunt, we’ll return to the Friendship Center at First Lutheran for even more fun, including games, treats, face painting, and engaging activities for kids of all ages.
- 5:30pm - Easter Vigil Service (and Livestreamed) - This is the night of salvation! At the Vigil of Easter, we gather around fire, word, water, bread, and wine, proclaiming through story and song that ours is a God who continuously brings life out of death.
Easter Sunday, April 5
- 8:30am - Easter Festival Worship in the Sanctuary - This year we will be having festival worship at 8:30am and 11:00am. Handel’s Hallelujah chorus will be sung at both services.
- 9:30am-10:45am - Easter Breakfast - Join us for Breakfast in between Easter Services! Come and enjoy a wonderful meal while experiencing the warmth of our welcoming community. This event is a fantastic opportunity for fellowship, whether you're a longtime member or a newcomer. To help us with our preparations, please RSVP. We eagerly anticipate celebrating the joyful spirit of Easter together!
