Saturday, March 7

  • 5:30pm - Worship
  • 9:00am-3:00pm - Interfaith Quilters Annual Quilt Sale & FLW Pie Café – The Interfaith Quilters of Longmont is having their annual sale! Entry donation $1. All proceeds will go to the Safe Shelter of St. Vrain Valley and to the O.U.R. Center of Longmont. Also, stop by the FLW Pie Café to purchase delicious baked goods, pie, quiche, and coffee for this combined fundraising event for our local charities!

DON’T FORGET TO SPRING FORWARD-DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME BEGINS! 

Sunday, March 8

  • 8:30am – FLW meeting in the conference room.  It's a busy time, but, would love to see everyone there!!!  Thanks to all the volunteers for Lenten Suppers, Pie Cafe and goodies brought to each of these events.  You BOLD WOMEN are amazing!
  • 9:30am - Worship and Livestream
  • 10:45am Sunday School Hour -  
    • K-5 Sunday School in Room 5 (The Old Fellowship Hall downstairs).
    • Middle and High School FLY - Any youth in grades 6-12 are invited to the FLY Room, each    Sunday for faith-filled discussions about what is going on in their lives!  
    • Adult Sunday School in the Conference Room. All are welcome to attend the study of “Lincoln's Battle with God: A President's Struggle with Faith and What It Meant for America” by Stephen Mansfield.   • 11:45am-1:45pm - Confirmation Class with Bethlehem at First Lutheran.

Tuesday, March 10

  • 9:00am-10:00am - Brass Angels Bell Choir in the Choir Room
  • 1:00pm - Staff Meeting in the Fireside Room
  • 6:00pm - Church Council Meeting in the Conference Room

Wednesday, March 11

  • 5:30pm- Lenten Wednesday Worship, with Holden Evening Prayer, followed by a soup supper in the Big Room.

Thursday, March 12

  • 10:30am - Adult Bible Study - We are centering our attention on Jesus, according to John’s gospel.  The Bible will be supplemented with the book “Wounded Lord,” by Robert Smith. If you still need a copy, please contact Maria Sutton in the church office.
  • 7:00pm-8:30pm – Chancel Choir Rehearsal in the Choir loft. Come lift your voices! Please contact Sally Campbell at sallycampbell.music@gmail.com or 303-652-3064 for more details.

Friday, March 13

  • 9:30am-12:00pm - Prayer Shawl in the Fireside Room, Along with the joy of fellowship, our Prayer Shawl group is called to create shawls for those needing support during celebrations or sorrows. No matter your knitting or crocheting skill level - come, learn, and make a shawl! Please call the church office for more information. 

Saturday, March 14

  • 10:30am-1:00pm - O.U.R Center Empty Bowls Fundraiser - The O.U.R. Center's Annual Empty Bowls Event is a soup lunch fundraiser that will take place at Longmont High School from 10:30am -1:00pm on Saturday, March 14th. This is a delicious way to support the O.U.R. center and all the wonderful work it does. Tickets are $25 before March 8 and $30 at the door if available. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.ourcenter.org/emptybowls/  or in-person at Crackpots. Hope to see a lot of First Lutheran folks at this amazing event on March 14th!
