Saturday, May 16

  • 5:30pm– Worship
  • 6:30pm-8:00pm - Third Saturday Game Night with PICKLEBALL!  Following the Saturday evening worship service, we will meet in the Big Room to enjoy all sorts of games and fellowship! Bring a friend! Everyone is invited! A Fun Time is guaranteed!! Pizza, Popcorn and Lemonade will be  provided

Sunday, May 17

  • 9:30am - Worship and Livestream - Noisy Offering!!!
    Bring your loose change (and/or dollar bills) for our noisy joyful offering! Sunday, May 17 children and youth will be collecting the noisy offering designated for the “Hope of Longmont".  The mission of Hope is to exist so that the unhoused may have a home.   • 10:45am - High School Graduation Celebration Breakfast in the Big Room. Everyone is invited to join us for breakfast, especially younger students who are also celebrating the end of the school year and preparing to transition to the next grade. We will be celebrating the end of the school year and the transition of First Lutheran students to new and exciting opportunities. It is the tradition of the Good Samaritan Committee to recognize our graduating high school seniors at the 9:30 worship service and celebrate them with a breakfast reception in the Big Room starting at 10:45.  
  • 10:45am - Adult Sunday School Class in the Conference Room. All are welcome to attend as we begin a new class discussion of the book, "Separation of Church and Hate” by Jon Fugelsang.  In his book Fugelsang’s message is about standing up for the love, mercy, and service that are supposed to make up the heart of Christianity.  The book is a blend of radical honesty, comedy, and deep political and religious knowledge. If you are joining by Zoom, please use this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83452511329?from=addon

Brass Angels Bell Choir is on summer break.

  • 1:00pm - Staff Meeting in the Fireside Room.

Wednesday, May 20

  • 10:00am-12:00pm – Seasoned Saints in the Fireside Room. All are invited to Seasoned Saints Wednesday, May 20 at 10:00 in the Fireside Room. Torre Ahlberg will present, "Your life. Your Legacy. Plan to make it right."  Torre is with Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, Dignity Memorial. Come and bring a friend. Contact lesdreyer11@gmail.com with questions.
  • 1:00pm-4:00pm - Lutheran World Relief Sewing Group in the Upper South Wing, Room B. Please contact Char Lemkee at calemkee@yahoo.com or 303-651-7484.
  • 4:45pm - F3 Meeting in the Fireside Room. F3 is for Faith, Fun, Fellowship or any other triple F you can fancy!  F3 is also often called, "Household Ministry", but please keep in mind that households include families, empty nesters, singles, young, old... everyone!  If you have an interest in planning events such as the hydration stations at summer events, the Halloween Event, Easter Egg Hunt, or other fellowship events, please feel free to attend.

Thursday, May 21

Adult Bible Study is on summer break.

  • 2:00pm – Diana Austin Memorial Service in the Sanctuary followed by a light reception in the Fireside Room.
  • 5:00pm-6:00pm - Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Meeting in the Conference Room. This committee will guide the congregation through the Reconciling in Christ (RIC) process offered by Reconciling Works. The purpose of the RIC Program is to ensure the welcome, inclusion, celebration, and advocacy for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions; work for racial equity and commit to anti-racist work and support the national program.
