  • Commitment Weekend – Commitment Weekend is a joyful time for our congregation to celebrate God’s blessings and to share our 2026 commitments in support of the church’s mission.
    Commitment cards have been mailed to each household, with extras available in the Narthex. If you can’t attend worship this weekend, you may mail or bring your card to the church office, or submit it online at www.firstluth.org.
    Together, with thankful hearts, we give in gratitude for God’s goodness!

    • Introduction to the Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Process in the Big Room.
      The Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Committee of First Lutheran invites you to an engaging introduction to the Reconciling in Christ process—a time for learning, conversation, and community.
      We are delighted to welcome Dr. Lisa Ponfick, M.D. (daughter of Ralph and Pastor Sally Ponfick) as our special guest speaker. Dr. Ponfick earned her Medical Doctorate from the University of Colorado, completed a four-year Psychiatry Residency where she served as Chief Resident, and a two-year Child Psychiatry Fellowship. For the past 20 years, she has served children and families in a variety of settings and currently works as the Medical Director for a Mental Health Center while maintaining an outpatient practice.
      Please join us for this meaningful and informative gathering as we learn together and warmly welcome Dr. Lisa Ponfick!

  • 10:30am - Adult Bible Study - This year we are centering our attention on Jesus, according to John’s gospel.  The Bible will be supplemented with the book “Wounded Lord,” by Robert Smith. If you still need a copy, please contact Maria Sutton in the church office.
