- Coffee with Council in the Fireside Room. Come grab a cup of coffee on your way to the Mosaic presentation or contact any council member with your ideas or concerns at any time.
- 10:45am Sunday School Hour -
- Pre K-5 Sunday School in Room 5 (The Old Fellowship Hall downstairs)
- FLY (First Lutheran Youth) - Middle & High School time in the FLY youth room.
- Parents of Sunday School children are invited to attend a weekly time of fellowship, prayer support, and information sharing. Join Deacon Korra downstairs at the large table and chairs outside the Sunday School classrooms from 10:45-11:45 for great conversation and coffee
- Guest Speaker on Special Needs and Disabilities in the Conference Room. Join Lauren Jensen, Mosaic International Fellow. Hear about the work that Mosaic does for people with disabilities in Moshi, Tanzania alongside their partner organization, Building a Caring Community. Lauren has spent the last 11 months in Moshi, Tanzania working with children with disabilities, and communities in need. She received her psychology degree from Colorado State University in 2020 and has been working with at-risk youth and individuals with disabilities since.

- 11:00am - Senior Advent Service & Luncheon - Our gathering will begin at 11:00am with an Advent Worship service where the Brass Angels will delight us with the joyous ringing of bells. Lunch will be served at noon after the service. Please let the office know that you plan to attend so the kitchen crew can prepare the right amount of food for our luncheon. Please RSVP by December 1. The planning team appreciates having an idea of how many to expect and they can accommodate last minute changes. The residents of St. Vrain Manor have been invited to join us. Each year one of the three sponsoring Churches of the Manor hosts the Christmas dinner, and this is our year. SVM Board Members will be assisting with the serving of the dinner. First Lutheran's Board members are Randy Williams, Marilyn Treharne and Ralph Ponfick. Bill Campbell has volunteered as our van driver to shuttle residents to and from the Church.

Thursday, December 4
- 10:30am - Adult Bible Study - This year we are centering our attention on Jesus, according to John’s gospel. The Bible will be supplemented with the book “Wounded Lord,” by Robert Smith. If you still need a copy, please contact Maria Sutton in the church office.

Friday, December 5
- 9:30am–11:00am - Prayer Shawl in the Fireside Room. Along with the joy of fellowship, our Prayer Shawl group is called to create shawls for those needing support during celebrations or sorrows. No matter your knitting or crocheting skill level - come, learn, and make a shawl!
- Advent Retreat for Families, December 5-7 at Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp Enjoy a weekend of festive activities like Christmas cookie decorating, special crafts, games, and joyful fellowship. Great for people of all ages! Contact Deacon Korra for details.
Saturday, December 6
- Alternative Giving Fair - Two weeks until the Alternative Giving Fair in the Friendship Center on Saturday, December 6th after the worship service and Sunday December 7th from 9 - 11:30am. We have some very talented and creative members who generously donate all types of gift ideas that are sold to raise money for ELCA World Hunger. If you are planning on preparing something, tags are now available in the narthex. Donated items will be accepted in the Church Conference Room, Saturday, December 6th from 9-11am.
