Weekend Reminder - November 7, 2025

 

Saturday, November 8

  • 1:00pm-4:00pm - Leaf Raking - Meet at the church  at 1:00 with your rake and gloves. The group will divide and conquer the leaves at various places.  
  • 5:30pm - Worship

Sunday, November 9

  • 8:30am – FLW Meeting in the Conference Room.
  • 9:30am - Worship (Livestream)

    Blessing of New Drivers/Car Keys -     This Sunday we celebrate an important milestone in the lives of  our young people who have recently gotten their driver's license or soon will be. This milestone will be observed in worship.  All new drivers are invited to participate.

    Noisy Offering this Sunday - We invite you to bring your loose change to church which will be designated to our local food pantries. The Sunday school children have decided to designate their offering to the food pantry and have invited the congregation to join them.  Sunday school children will help collect the offering.  Thank you for your contribution. 

  • 10:45am Sunday School Hour -  
    • Pre K-5 Sunday School in Room 5 (The Old Fellowship Hall downstairs)
    • Parents of Sunday School children are invited to attend a weekly time of fellowship, prayer support, and information sharing.  Join Deacon Korra downstairs at the large table and chairs outside the Sunday School classrooms from 10:45-11:45 for great conversation and coffee. 
    • FLY (First Lutheran Youth) - Middle & High School time in the FLY youth room.
    • Mission and Visioning Conversations in the Conference Room. Join us with joy and a spirit of hope as First Lutheran embarks on a season of prayerful Mission and Visioning for the future.
      · Thank you for attending our discussions Sunday, October 12th, with an introduction to the inspiring “Mission Trinity” and a meaningful conversation about our Facilities as a partner in God’s work. Sunday, November 9th, we continue as we focus on the Congregation as a partner, exploring how we are called to live as Christ’s body. Finally.

Thursday, November 13

  • 10:30am - Adult Bible Study - This year we are centering our attention on Jesus, according to John’s gospel.  The Bible will be supplemented with the book “Wounded Lord,” by Robert Smith. If you still need a copy, please contact Maria Sutton in the church office.
