Weekend Reminder - October 17, 2025

 

Saturday, October 18

  • 5:30pm - Worship
  • 6:30pm - OKTOBERFEST will be celebrated  in the Big Room.

Come enjoy food, drink and music! Tickets will be sold  at the door.
They are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.
FLW (First Lutheran Women) is raising funds for a new refrigerator in the kitchen downstairs.
Come join in the festivities!

Sunday, October 19

  • 8:15am - New Member Orientation, Part 1 - Please join us for a New Member Orientation and Breakfast with Pastor Garrett, Deacon Korra & Council in the Fireside Room, from 8:15-9:15am before the Sunday service. We’ll enjoy breakfast, fellowship & orientation!
  • Sunday 9:30am - Worship with Jerusalem Road (Livestream) - Come tap your toes and lift your hearts as Jerusalem Road, a favorite bluegrass worship band, leads us. Get ready for fiddles, banjos, and harmonies that will make the pews sway and the rafters ring. This is a change from our regular Sunday morning worship leadership—it’s a lively mix of gospel roots, heartfelt hymns, and a whole lot of joy. Bring a friend, bring your neighbor, and don’t forget your singing voice—because bluegrass sounds best when everyone joins in. Whether you’re a lifelong churchgoer or just curious about a fresh, toe-tapping worship experience, you’ll find a warm welcome here and it’s sure to keep the music humming in your heart all week long.
  • 10:45am Sunday School Hour -  
    • Pre K-5 Sunday School in Room 5 (The Old Fellowship Hall downstairs)
    • Parents of Sunday School children are invited to attend a weekly time of fellowship, prayer support, and information sharing.  Join Deacon Korra downstairs at the large table and chairs outside the Sunday School classrooms from 10:45-11:45 for great conversation and coffee.
    • Jerusalem Road Social Hour - Join us for more foot tapping Bluegrass Music in the Big Room!
  • 4:00pm-6:00pm - “FLY Time” with Bethlehem Lutheran Church - High School Youth at the Howell Residence, enjoy food, games and great conversation devotion.

FREE STUFF! - FREE children's videos, and church artwork available.  Please visit the tables downstairs and take what you like. The Sunday School office has been cleaned and these items are not needed here but could possibly bless another home or organization. Thanks for helping us declutter and recycle.

Thursday, October 23

  • 10:30am - Adult Bible Study in the Conference Room - This year we are centering our attention on Jesus, according to John’s gospel.  The Bible will be supplemented with the book “Wounded Lord,” by Robert Smith. If you still need a copy, please contact Maria Sutton in the church office.

Saturday, October 25

6:30-8:00pm - Halloween Carnival and Game Night
Stop in for a spell at our game night after 5:30 worship service.
Halloween-Carnival themed Games for Kids and Adults!
Join us in the Big Room, Feel free to come dressed in costumes! (even in worship!)
Lots of fantastic fun, guests and neighbors are also welcome!! 
Don’t forget to bring Halloween candy and prize donations to the office by October 21st. Thank you!

Sunday, October 26

  • 8:15am - New Member Class, Part 2 and New Member Welcoming - Those interested in becoming a member, please join us again at 8:15am in the Fireside Room to continue the New Member Orientation. New members will be welcomed at the 9:30am Worship Service which will be followed by a Cross Generational, Reformation Sunday Breakfast potluck in the Big Room.
  • 10:45-11:45am - Cross Generational Reformation Breakfast Potluck -  Join us for fellowship and food with children, youth, and families in the Big Room! Have fun with Reformation Trivia and come meet the new members! Bring a dish to share!
