Saturday, September 26

  • 3:00pm-8:00pm - OUR Center 40th Anniversary Celebration at the OUR Center. They are excited to celebrate this milestone with the community. They will have food trucks, kids’ activities, entertainment and a special history room display. We hope you can stop by! See Flyer on the Narthex table for more details.
  • 5:30pm - Worship Service

Sunday, September 27

  • 9:30am - Worship and Livestream
  • Faith Formation for All Ages Hour
    • 10:45am - Children and Youth Classes for all Preschool-Grade 5 children meets in Room 5
    • 11:15am - Adult Forum Class this week immediately following the Special Congregation Meeting.
  • 10:45am - Special Congregation Meeting in the Friendship Center (Big Room) for the sole purpose of considering the approval of the 2026-2027 Mission Spending Plan (budget) for the congregation. All voting members are encouraged to attend this meeting. The congregation has changed its fiscal year to October 1-September 30 of each year. Thank you for your participation in the ministry and programs of the congregation.
  • Parish House Transitional Project Q&A immediately following the Special Congregation Meeting in the Friendship Center (Big Room) - There will be a time of Q and A for the Parish House Transitional Project by the committee working on this project. All are welcome to learn more about this exciting ministry opportunity. 
  • 11:45am-1:45pm - Confirmation Class at Bethlehem Lutheran

Thursday, October 1

  • 10:30am – Adult Lectionary Study in the Fireside Room - The Thursday Morning Bible Study is now a lectionary study!  Ever wondered about the biblical passages read in Sunday worship? Ever wanted to know more about them — their context, their tie (or lack of it) to the other readings, what to make of it all?  We are going to talk about the readings for worship on the following weekend. If you have brilliant ideas, you might be quoted in the Sunday sermon. So, come and see — and participate. It’s going to be a great adventure, for more information contact Pastor Stephanie.
  • 5:00pm – RIC, Reconciling in Christ Meeting in the Conference Room - Come check out RIC! What does it look like to be a church where people of all identities and backgrounds don’t just feel welcome, but truly know they belong? That’s what we’re exploring together through Reconciling in Christ (RIC), and we want your input too! Join a meeting, bring your questions, your ideas, your experiences, or just your curiosity. You don’t need to know anything about RIC ahead of time. Just come hang out and help us imagine what radical welcome can look like at First Lutheran. Join us in the Conference room, we’d love to see you!

Friday, October 2

  • 9:30am–11:00am - Prayer Shawl in the Fireside Room.  Along with the joy of fellowship, our Prayer Shawl group is called to create shawls for those needing support during celebrations or sorrows. No matter your knitting or crocheting skill level - come, learn, and make a shawl!
  • October 2-4 - Confirmation Retreat at Sky Ranch
  • October 2-3 - Faith Formation Co-Op Retreat at Sky Ranch

Saturday, October 3

  • 9:00am-2:00pm-Interfaith Quilters Fall Quilt Boutique in the Big Room - This fall sale features holiday items, wall hangings, table linens, lap quilts, baby quilts and more! $1.00 entry donation. All proceeds benefit the Safe Shelter of St. Vrain Valley and the OUR Center.
  • 5:30pm - St Francis Day Worship Service and again on Sunday, October 4 at 9:30am - Bring your pets to our worship services on Saturday & Sunday for a St. Francis Day blessing.  If your favorite animal is a stuffed one, bring it.  Or, if you are worried about your pet in church, bring a picture.  We'll bless them all. And if you are concerned about allergies and sensitivities to animals, we'll have separate seating for you in the Ryssby Chapel area.  It's all great fun, so please join us.
