OBITUARY
The family of Sara Beth (Thorvaldson) Brand is saddened to announce her death at the age of 48 in Berthoud, CO on September 11, 2025.
Sara was born in Longmont, CO on January 11, 1977, to Bill and Sharon Thorvaldson. She attended Skyline High School where she met her eventual husband, Kirk Brand. She was proud to be a Colorado native and loved caring for her family and her cozy home, always full of dogs and plants.
She had a successful career as a dental assistant and thoroughly enjoyed her work. Sara adored finding unique and special gifts for those she loved.
Sara is survived by her loving husband, Kirk Brand, her children, Madison Hart and Reganne Hart, her parents, Bill and Sharon Thorvaldson, her sisters, Karin Merkle (Tim), Joan Thorvaldson, Jenny Montell (Aaron), brother-in-law Kyle Brand, as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
