is an annual day of service organized by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). In 2025, this event will be held on September 13. It's a day for ELCA congregations to participate in various service projects to demonstrate their faith and love for their neighbors. 

Sign-up sheets for the Gods Work. Our Hands. projects are on the bulletin board in the Narthex. All the fun projects we will be participating in this year and donations needed are listed below. Join us in the Big Room after worship from 10:45-Noon. A pizza lunch will be provided in the Big Room from 12-12:30pm.

2026 God's Work. Our Hands. Projects

Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains - Meet the Women's knitting and sewing group who are refugees from Burma. We will give them the donations we collected and hear about their journeys to the United States. Staff from LFS will accompany them and help us learn more about the services of Lutheran Family Services.

Our Center - Go to the Our Center and tour the facility to learn more about it. Hear about all the resources they provide and how we can partner with them in the future. We will also deliver the diapers we have collected as well as the bags of beans and rice which the kids assembled.

St. Vrain Manor – Have a cookies and coffee conversation with members at the St. Vrain Manor. Prior to our visit we will write cards or draw pictures for the members.

Parish House - Move medical equipment from the parish house to a storage room at the church. The Parish House Return-to Housing Committee is preparing to use more space in the Parish House for people in our community in need of transitional housing. The medical equipment is used for various people in our congregation and community in times of emergency and after surgeries.

Lutheran World Relief - Tie quilts for Lutheran World Relief. No experience necessary in quilting, just a willingness to tie and make connections with others.

 Please bring your donated items to the box in the narthex by September 6.
